New Arrival: Danny Cashman Joins Boreham Wood
Boreham Wood has bolstered its forward line with the signing of 25-year-old striker Danny Cashman on a season-long loan from League Two club Crawley Town. The move comes after Cashman’s impressive performances for Worthing, where he scored 28 goals in 79 appearances before his transfer to Crawley last June.
Background and Career Journey
Cashman began his career at Brighton and Hove Albion's academy, gaining experience through various loan spells with Rochdale, Walsall, and Altrincham. His time at Coventry City further honed his skills, making him a versatile and experienced forward when he joined Worthing in 2024.
His stint at Worthing was particularly fruitful, as he netted 28 goals in just over two seasons before Crawley Town offered him a permanent deal. However, Boreham Wood has now stepped in to secure his services for the upcoming season on loan terms.
