Boreham Wood Football Club is excited to announce the signing of full back Junior Robinson on loan from Premier League side West Ham United until the end of the season. This move aims to bolster Boreham Wood's squad as they seek to improve their performance in the National League. Robinson, a highly regarded defender, is set to gain valuable senior experience at Meadow Park. Robinson's journey began at West Ham United, where he joined the Academy at just six years old. He made significant strides through the youth ranks, showcasing his talent with 28 appearances for the Hammers' U18s during the 2021/22 season. His impressive performances earned him a spot with the U23s in the Premier League Cup. After signing his first professional contract in the summer of 2022, Robinson continued to shine in the 2023/24 season with the U21s, featuring 24 times and scoring once. To further his development, he has had loan spells with Sutton United and Scottish Premiership side Livingston, where he made an impact in a narrow defeat against Rangers. An energetic and athletic full back, Robinson has also represented England at youth level, making his U17 debut against Belgium in 2020. Boreham Wood is thrilled to welcome Junior to the team and looks forward to seeing him in action at the Mangata Developments Stadium, Meadow Park.
